    Halloween Festivities

    Julie’s Birthday at Hana

    Yesterday was my sisters 24th birthday! Happy Birthday, Julie! My sister was born 17 months after I was. Needless to say, we are close!! 😉 We went to the same college and even both had the same major. And we still share the same group of friends. She wanted to have her birthday dinner Hibachi style at Hana Japanese Steakhouse. My parents also joined us. As did friends! Chris and I got a blooming tea called Halo to share. It was tasty!     Apple Picking with Blends

    Hola everyone. Hope you all are having a great weekend! Yesterday I got to spend time with some awesome Blends (Blogger Friends) and we went apple picking at Indian Ladder Farms along with a delicious brunch at their Yellow Rock Cafe. My blends are Lauren, Cynthia, Becca, Heather and my newest blends Nicole and Chelle! First, brunch! The Yellow Rock Cafe is located right inside Indian Ladder, along with their country store. I ate brunch here one other time after Yoga with Breathing Room. I went with one of their speciality sandwiches called the “Adirondack”: spinach, avocado, tomato and fresh mozzarella on crispy bread.     Apples and Wine and Running 9 Miles

    Good afternoon readers! I’m relaxing right now because I’m exhausted from this morning’s Nine Miler. Phew. I can’t believe I ran another nine miles. I haven’t run that far since JULY where I ran 9.3 miles in my 15K. Holy crap! I felt much better today, though, than I felt that day! It must mean I’m in better shape than I was in July. 😉 This morning I woke up with a strong urge to bake.
