Weekly Workout Schedule – 3.11.13

Last week’s schedule

Monday – Rest complete
Tuesday – 3 mi + hot yoga actual: 4 mi
Wednesday – 7 mi complete
Thursday – 3 mi actual: rest
Friday – Rest actual: 75 min hot yoga flow “Sweat, Flow & Let Go”
Saturday – 14 mi complete
Sunday – Shamrock Run (2 mi) actual: 50 min of Jillian Michaels Strength Workout + 2 mi Shamrock Run (more on that later)

Total Mileage – 27

Saturday morning, after the Carbo-Loading Pasta Party, I had 14 miles to run for marathon training. I ended up running down to the Coring Preserve to meet some ladies for the Nike Women’s Virtual 10K. The weather on Saturday morning was fantastic. I actually got pretty warm on the run down to the path, but down by the river the wind picked up. The sun was shining and it was gorgeous.

Total Distance – 14 mi
Time – 2:17:35
Average Pace – 9:50/mile

I was really glad I ran down to the bike path because during my run I felt like I had a place to run to…rather than just running an aimless loop.

Wednesday – 7 mi
Thursday – 4 mi
Friday – Rest
Saturday – 15 mi
Sunday – Strength
