Uber Bar Review

My friends at Larabar sent me four of their new granola bars to try out, the Uber Bar! Yum!

The first one I tried was the Roasted Nut Roll, for one of my morning snacks while at work.

The bar tasted delicious! It was chewy, sweet and salty at the same time.

The only thing I don’t like about this bas is the calorie count–220 calories for one small bar and only 5g of protein. I like when my bars have tons of protein in them to keep me full. I ate half the bar for snack and saved half for later on. These bars would be great to keep in your purse to keep hunger at bay when you can’t have a real meal right away.

However, the other bars I tried had less calories at 190 per bar. That’s not as bad. I tried the apple turnover, bananas foster and the cherry cobbler. The apple and cherry were my FAVORITE. I loved them…much better than the nut roll bar.

This one was defintely more sweet than salty, which I like. It tasted like apple pie.

And my favorite…

Another great aspect of these bars: only nine ingredients, each were recognizable!

Overall,  I was a fan of these delicious granola bars! Way to go Larabar.

Nice review! I love their other bars particularly the Cherry Pie and Blueberry Muffin so I’m excited to try these. Their products taste exactly like how they’re supposed to (the cherry really does taste like cherry) and I can actually pronounce all their ingredients!
