Seven Links

Yesterday Courtney tagged me to do a “Seven Links” post! This weekend I’m away at camp with Chris and our friends Rob and Caitlyn, and no Internet access to be found, so I’m going to leave you with this. Here we go.

Most Beautiful – Cherry Blossom 10 Mile Run

This race was absolutely gorgeous. It took place during Cherry Blossom season in Washington D.C. and we ran past a bunch of National Monuments and through miles of cherry trees. It was amazing!

Most Popular – I am a Warrior

In September of last year Chris and I ran the Warrior Dash North East, a 5K obstacle course up a ski mountain. It was crazy and fun and we got really dirty! Its my most viewed post. 🙂

Most Controversial – The Thanksgiving Dilemma

I don’t think I write about that many controversial topics. But we all know what we choose to eat for ethical reasons can be pretty controversial. I’m pesco-vegetarian, but I was on the fence about whether or not to eat turkey on Thanksgiving. You can find out if I did in The Thanksgiving Dilemma Part II.

Most Helpful – What I Learned in Nutrition Science

I took an Intro to Nutrition Science course in the Spring of 2011 as part of my prerequisites for a Masters in Nutrition, so I decided to write a series on the blog about what I learned in the class. I found it very informative and helpful and I hope my readers did too! Here are links to the rest of the series:

Surprise Success – Bring on 13.1

In this pretty emotional post I wrote about reaching a personal distance recording of 12 miles while training for my first half marathon last October. I was really surprised at all the great feedback on this post.

Not Enough Attention – Video Blog – Where Do Your Recyclables Go?

I filmed my first video log on single stream recycling and what happens to your recyclables after they leave your house. I thought it was pretty fascinating but my video didn’t get much feedback? Maybe I’m just a green nerd like that.

Most Proud – Mohawk Hudson River Half Marathon

On 10.10.10 I ran my first half marathon, which I thought was a pretty great accomplishment for someone who who never had an athletic bone in their body for most of their life. 😉 I love re-reading it because it brings me back to that amazing day where I accomplished something I never thought in a million years I would do!

Now, its my turn to tag bloggers to do a seven links post!
