Cocktails at Reading Terminal Market
One of the coolest things that happened this weekend was going to the Healthy Living Summit cocktail party at Reading Terminal Market in Philadelphia. The place was closed, but they had food and drink tables set up for us to enjoy some drinks and mingle with the other bloggers. We got two free drink tickets, so I got a white wine to start off with. There was this cool photoboard with pictures of all the HLS attendees that someone had made, it was cute. Can you spot me? The spread of food was pretty decent. Three Things Thursday
1. Dinner at Creo. Last night I went to dinner with some fellow bloggers, Lauren, Amy, Courtney, and Alicia! We chose Creo in Stuyvesant Plaza! I’m a big fan of this place, the food is incredible. The manager brought out a tasty eggplant dip for us to share (score!) and it was really good! For my meal I had such a hard time choosing, but I went with the vegan pad thai because it wasn’t something I would normally order. (I de-veganized it with cheese). It was amazing! Today was the Second Annual CDNY Eat Drink Blog brunch at Heather’s! Read about last year’s here. I can’t believe it’s been a year since I met these girls! We had a blast at the brunch today, but first, my long run! I have a half marathon in three weeks! So today called for another long run, 10 miles to be exact. A Pre-Race Lunch Date
The day before our big race, Heather and I hung out in Troy. We grabbed a late lunch at Spill ‘N the Beans Coffeehouse. Heather was a bit nervous for the race, but I told her she had nothing to worry about! And I was right because she finished and did great! I was sad that the restaurant didn’t have breakfast since they stopped serving it at 1pm on Saturdays. We got there around 2ish. Dang. Happy Birthday to Me!
Today is my 26th Birthday! I took today off from work to relax and get some stuff done, and it has been a low-key, but relaxing day so far!!! I actually celebrated my birthday with Chris last weekend in Woodstock. I also celebrated with some friends on Saturday after the Spring Runoff. Heather’s birthday was last Thursday so we had a joint birthday picnic. 🙂 A bunch of my blogger friends and real life friends gathered together to have an awesome picnic in the park!
