Breakfast and the Butterfly Conservatory

On Wednesday morning in Key West Chris and I walked to Duval Street to Banana Cafe for breakfast.

It seemed like the perfect spot to grab a quick breakfast. They had a lot to choose from, too! So many crepes!

I actually went with something I usually never order, the bagel with cream cheese & smoked salmon!

And of course some green tea.

Breakfast was very tasty. I would definitely recommend this place for breakfast if you’re ever in Key West.

After our breakfast, it was time to do something I’d been looking forward to the whole trip…a visit to the Key West Butterfly & Nature Conservatory.

Walking into the butterfly sanctuary was like something straight out of a fairy tale. Ambient music was playing and there were butterflies and birds everywhere!

If pictures of butterflies don’t interest you, then scroll down. But I loved it here. It was so relaxing and so awesome to see all the butterflies fluttering around. It was like a little girl’s dream come true!

Some of them even landed on us.

It was a great experience! It was one of the best things I’ve done while being here. My parents and Chris enjoyed it too. My dad didn’t think he would like it but he ended up really enjoying it!
