WIAW – On Thursday
I meant to do this post yesterday but time got away from me since I was home sick and then had to drag myself to class in the evening. But I figured better late than never, right?
Breakfast
The other day I picked up the famous Pumpkin Spice swirl bread that I’ve seen floating around the blogosphere. Sadly, I had a non-working toaster but I still managed to enjoy the bread! I topped it with some sunbutter and pumpkin butter.
I have to share my morning snack with you. Along with the bread I also picked up some greek yogurt at Hannaford. Usually I grab the Chobani, but this caught my eye. A store brand greek yogurt for 85 cents.
It tasted amazing, I honestly couldn’t tell the difference between this and Chobani. I loved it! I was pleasantly surprised.
Lunch
Lunch was simple since I didn’t have much of an appetite. I had some V8 Corn Chowder with whole wheat crackers.
And later a slice of my mom’s apple cake. It is amazing. I might just have to share the recipe with you soon.
Along with the cake I had some hot apple cider.
And then a little bit later I continued with the fall theme. My first candy corn of the season!
Dinner
Unfortunately I felt pretty crappy yesterday around dinnertime and didn’t snap any photos, but I had some salmon and rice. It looked something like this minus the spinach.
So that was that.
Being sick with a cold has given me zero energy to work out. I want to go run but a part of me wants to rest. I figure since I’m probably still recovering from running a half marathon last weekend, I will just give in and rest my body until I’m feeling better to attempt a run. I won’t be surprised if this week’s milage is going to be zero!

Sorry you are sick, I hope you feel better soon! I LOVE apple cider, especially loaded with cinnamon 🙂

I also nabbed some of that Hannaford greek yogurt. I also cannot tell the difference! I’ve switched over to just plan greek yogurt – the other ones have more sugar. I really liked the pineapple Chobani, though.
and mmmm hot apple cider! Maybe I’ll get that tomorrow on our lunch date instead of a PSL!
