Hop Harvest Party at City Beer Hall

The other night Chris and I went to the City Beer Hall to check out the Hop Harvest Party they had going on.

Give me fall things and beer related things and I’m happy but when the two combined–it was awesome!

It was my second time at the City Beer Hall, which just opened up this summer. The bar’s thing is a free flatbread pizza with every pint. And the pizza is GOOD!

Anyway, Hop Harvest seemed cool. The food and beer was all local!

Chris and I each got a beer at the bar. My first pumpkin beer of the season!

And then we headed out to the patio to get in on the action!

We also got our pizza that came with our beer.

We waited a little while for the beer station and the food to get set up, and we wandered around.

The menu looked interesting!

I wanted to try the Harvest Ravioli but was sad to find it was $5 for a small plate of maybe 4 or 5 ravioli. My pizza was enough for me for dinner, anyway.

We waited in line to get another beer, and this time I got a half pint of the Southern Tier harvest. A bit hoppy, but not bad at all!

But then something else caught my eye…the Apple Cider Ice Cream Sandwich! It was $5 also, but I had to try it. I even let Chris share some. 😉 It was amazing and so worth it!

An evening well spent! I wish I could have tried more of the food though. 🙁 It was still fun.

Sometimes, I really do enjoy this city.
