Weekly Workout Schedule 6.4.12

So, last week I posted about varying my workout schedule. I did a pretty good job last week incorporating a bunch of different workouts into my routine. Here’s what I planned to do:

Tuesday3 mile run, hot power yoga complete

Wednesdaytrying a new class at my gym, 3 mile run completed: will power & grace fitness class, 30 minutes of Live Fit weight training program – Chest/Triceps, no run

Thursday5 mile run completed: 4.62 mile trail run

FridayYoga completed: yoga, 45 minute walk, 30 minutes of Live Fit weight training program – Back/Biceps

SaturdayLong run (7 – 8 miles) completed: 5.0 mile run, 30 min of Live Fit Program – Shoulders/Abs

Sundaya 5K?? – still not sure about this completed: 3.25 mile run, spectated the 5K

Total miles ran – 16

As you can see, I’m incorporating weight training into my new routine! So far, I really like the program. I did skip day 3 of the program (legs/calves) because my legs are pretty strong and I did the fitness class on Wednesday which was almost all squats and legwork! Plus, the areas I need to to focus on anyway are my arms, back, chest, shoulders and abs. Pretty much everything but legs.

Workout schedule for this week:

Monday – Body Pump and/or Live Fit weight training program – chest/triceps

Tuesday – 3 mile run, power yoga

Wednesday – Live Fit program – back/biceps, Willpower & Grace

Thursday – 5 mile run

Friday – 3 mile run, Live Fit program – shoulders/abs

Saturday – Yoga/Rest

Sunday – 8 mile run

Total miles run – 19
