Weekly Workout Schedule – 4.29.13

Last week’s schedule

Monday – Rest actual: 2 mi walk
Tuesday – 3 mi + yoga actual: 3 mi run
Wednesday – 7 mi actual: 13.6 mi bike ride
Thursday – Spinning actual: 6.5 mi run
Friday – Rest
Saturday – 12 mi actual: 12.12 mi run
Sunday – Strength actual: 60 min barre class + 10 mi bike ride

Total running miles – 21.6

Saturday’s run went pretty well. I was so glad for “only” 12 miles this weekend, I think my legs were craving a short break, if you can even call it that.  Laura met me again this weekend and she ran the first 9 miles with me. 🙂 Love having a friend to run with–my runs had been getting so lonely!

Sunday morning my sister and I drove up to Clifton Park to go to a power barre class with Girlnetic. The Hot Yoga Spot just opened a new studio up there and we wanted to go check it out. The new studio is gorgeous–what a big room!

Power barre is no joke! It was one of the hardest workout classes I’ve taken. My legs were screaming by the end of it. I’m going to have to take more of these at the Albany studio ASAP!

Workout schedule for this week

Monday – 3 mi
Tuesday – 4 mi
Wednesday – 5 mi
Thursday – Rest
Friday – Rest
Saturday – The 20 Miler
Sunday – Strength

This weekend should be interesting. Thursday is my birthday, Friday night we’re celebrating with some friends, and then Saturday Chris and I have a wedding to go to. My plan is to do the 20 miler Saturday morning and get it over with, that way I can enjoy the wedding and not have to worry about doing it the next morning.
