Tuesday Randomness
Wow, my upper body is sore today! And this post is going to be pretty random.
Yesterday morning I went to my first Body Combat class with Courtney. Body Combat is like a fast moving kickboxing class, and it was a really great workout. It was so fast paced I had trouble keeping up with the moves! I haven’t been to kickboxing in years and I didn’t realize how much I missed it!

I also managed to squeeze in a 3.0 mile run at lunch yesterday since the weather seemed to be cool enough now. Those hot temps last week kept me on the treadmill so it was nice to be outside again. Unfortunately because I was away last weekend I didn’t get a long run in. I hope this doesn’t effect my training too much. I just have to make sure to get a 10-11 miler in this weekend.
I skipped Body Pump this morning to get some extra sleep since I was up late last night cleaning and finishing a book I’ve been reading! If I’m not too sore I’m going to go this evening. Speaking of Body Pump, sometimes my right wrist gets sore after doing the triceps track. Does this happen to anyone else when lifting weights? Is my form wrong?
Have I told you about my obsession with Mu Mu Muesli? I put it on everything, cereal, smoothies, you name it.
Obsessed. The Muesli is made locally and consists of rolled oats with cranberries, organic raisins, organic dates, organic unsulphured unsweetened coconut, roasted almonds and organic flaxseeds. I use it in place of granola!
Because this post is random, I will mention that yesterday I purchased another Groupon Deal for my first ever MASSAGE! I’m really excited. I have never had a professional massage!

Aw, gotta love Cedric! btw, I was obsessed with the hunger games when I was reading the series and couldn’t put it down! I loved all of them but the final book was my least fave. Body Combat sounds fun!
Oh I saw your tweet earlier- you should either go for both OR just yoga- your muscles are sore and the stretch would probably be great!

I don’t do body pump but I know doing tricep dips makes my wrists really sore – do you guys do tricep dips? Maybe that’s it.

some classes we do them, but mostly its tripcep kickbacks, presses and extensions. i saw a woman with wrist braces on the other day during class, i wohnder if they help at all.
