The Highlights of Boulder

We did many awesome things while in Boulder this past weekend. Lets do a short hopefully not too long re-cap, shall we?

The Wedding – Friday night was Brooke and Dan’s wedding, and it was a blast! Gorgeous scenery, good food and a great party.

Celestial Seasonings Factory Tour – Located in Boulder, Chris and I took a few hours to go visit the home of one of my favorite teas, Celestial Seasonings!

It was the most amazing smelling factory, ever. And we go to wear funny hair nets.

We also sampled delicious teas.

And I also tried Kombucha for the first time. Opinion=eh.

The viewing of interesting wildlife – AKA a buffalo sighting.

So, maybe they weren’t in the wild, but it was still awesome.

I also spotted a mischievous prairie dog on our bike ride through Boulder.

And of course, the amazing Elk we saw in the Rockies on Sunday.

The food & beer – Two brewery visits, an awesome vegetarian restaurant and AMAZING Colorado Mountain Pizza.

Some of the best pizza I’ve ever eaten – the “smart meal” mountain pie, whole wheat crust, artichokes, feta, tomatoes and olives at BeauJos in Boulder.

Beau Jo's on Urbanspoon

The best fish tacos with mango salsa I’ve ever had at Rio Grande in Downtown Denver. Full of flavor and just plain incredible.

And lets not forget the Raspberry Beer and Tempeh Rueben from Southern Sun Brewery.

Anyway, there you have it. A quick review of an amazing vacation, I must say. Now, why did I have to come back to New York?
