Salute the Sky with the Breathing Room
This morning I took my very first yoga class! And it was incredible. My friend and co-worker, Sarah, and I headed bright and early to Indian Ladder Farms, where the class was going to be held. It was outside in one of their fields, with a view of the Heldeberg Escarpment. Indian Ladder is a place I’ve been going to since I was a young kid, when my grandparents would take my sister and I there for apples and nature hikes. 🙂 I have a connection with this place. A Not-That-Exciting Lunch
Good afternoon everyone! Hope you all are having a great Thursday. I’m making a quick post right now because I’m going to be super busy these next couple days and I’m not sure when I’ll get to blogging again. Probably at some point on Saturday! Anyway, last night I went to the gym after work for what was supposed to be a five-mile tempo run. I was going to turn into a six-mile tempo run, but that changed. Honey Lemon Tea and Chickpea Salad
Last night as I was getting ready for bed I felt a sore throat coming on. Not a good sign! So I’ve been popping Cold-Eze and this morning I had some tea. I brewed a bag of Lemon Zinger and a bag of regular Lipton tea together with some honey, and so far it has helped! Last night I felt like making something different for dinner, so I stopped at Hannaford after work to get the ingredients for Smitten Kitchen’s Smashed Chickpea Salad.
