First of the CSA Vegetables
I mentioned a few months ago that Chris and I joined our first CSA – Community Supported Agriculture program – to get fresh locally grown vegetables delivered every week from June to October. Well, this week the first box was delivered. We got radishes, lettuce, oregano, garlic, an asian saute mix of greens, and garlic scapes! For dinner last night I decided to do something with the radishes. I decided to roast them by first washing them, removing the roots and stems, then mixing them with olive oil and some balsamic vinegar, followed by roasting them in the oven for 15 minutes.
