I’ve tried making sushi at home -or more properly, maki rolls, and vegetarian versions only – ingredients from Kim’s Oriental Mart on Central Ave (nori, umeboshi plums, wasabi, etc) and with short-grained brown rice. Not bad but can’t hold a candle to the real thing from a restaurant!
