Spinning Newbie

I’m on Day 5 of no running. It kind of sucks, but its given me a chance to try something new. I took a spin class on Tuesday night for the first time.

It was intense but in a good way! I decided to give it another try and went again on Thursday night–even more fun. Since I was new, the instructor helped me adjust my bike and the second class felt even better than the first. It was such a great workout with speed and hill intervals worked into the class, along with really awesome music to pump you up during the workout.

My leg is still a bit sore but so far spinning hasn’t been making it any worse. It feels a lot better than it did on Monday! I’ve been icing it and stretching every day and I’m hoping its better in a few more weeks!
