Running Shoe Dilemma, Solved!

In mid-April I wrote a post about how I was having major running shoe issues. In short, the shoes I was running in were hurting my feet during long runs. I ended up getting the New Balance 890s (a light weight neutral shoe) and they were not good for long runs, so I needed a good pair for my runs over five miles.

I think the problem has been solved!

I’m still running short runs (under five miles) in my New Balance 890s. They are comfy and I’m loving them!

But, I ended up buying the upgraded version of my beloved 760s (now 860s) and they seem to be doing the trick.

I should have never strayed from my favorite shoe. I recently ran 7.0 miles in them (in the pouring rain) and I didn’t get one blister. #win!

I’m now rotating between the 890s and the 860s. I’m happy with them both so far. Lets hope that doesn’t change!
