Infuse Your Mood Tea

Sun Chlorella USA recently sent me some tea to review. I figured, why not? I love tea and I would love the opportunity to try a new-to-me tea that is supposed to have some great health benefits.

They sent me Infuse Your Mood, a 100% Natural Eleuthero Tea. What is Eleuthero Tea, you ask? Well, after researching it, I found out via Wikipedia that its actually an herb known as Siberian Ginseng, which is known to have some pretty good health benefits, like giving your body a natural energy boost and decreasing stress.

Siberian Ginseng is adaptogenic, which means the herb is “a metabolic regulator which increases the ability of an organism to adapt to environmental factors, and to avoid damage from such factors. Environmental factors can be either physiological (external), such as injury or aging, or psychological (internal), such as anxiety.” (via Wikipedia.)

The tea is supposed to help:

  • Improve sense of well-being
  • Provide a sense of peace & tranquility
  • Support physical endurance
  • Enhance inner calm & focus

I tried the tea for the first time this morning. I didn’t know what to expect. I was afraid it might taste kind of bad, but I was pleasantly surprised!

I first tried it without any sweetener. It had a bit of an earthy, “green” taste to it, which I didn’t care for. But after adding one teaspoon of honey, it tasted delicious! The flavor wasn’t too much different from my beloved green tea.

I definitely felt a bit rejuvenated when I drank it this morning. It was nice to have the boost without the added caffeine. I’m hoping this tea will give me that boost of energy I need in the afternoon, especially around 3 pm when I usually feel like crashing.

Disclaimer: I was sent Infuse Your Mood tea free of charge to review, all opinions are my own.
