Chocolate and Yoga
Sunday Morning my sister, Julie and my friend Caitlyn and I went to the Chocolate Expo at the State Museum!
I had been wanting to check out the Chocolate Expo for years and finally got around to it. ๐
We got there as soon as the expo opened, so we had first shot at the chocolate fountains. The expo cost $3 to get in, which wasn’t bad at all. The chocolate fountain was free! And you got to through the line as many times as you wanted with two dipping items per person each time through the line. Luckily it was very early so we got to go through a few times because the line was so short!
It was around lunchtime and none of us had eaten anything so we were pretty hungry. Mmm chocolate for lunch, anyone?
I even got fancy with my chocolate strawberries.
The rest of the Expo consisted of vendor after vendor selling amazing looking goodies!
You can’t have chocolate without wine.
My favorite…the mini cheesecakes from Cheesecake Machismo!
They were 3 for $5, so we each got one. It was the only thing I actually got at the expo (besides samples!)…
We were pretty full from the dipping chocolate, so we saved them for later.
After the Chocolate Expo the three of us had a date for a hot yoga class. Random, I know. It was also my sister’s very first yoga class, ever! AND she almost got side-crow pose. Incredible! Yay Julie. I think I have a yoga convert. ๐
It was a good day, with two of my favorite things, yoga and chocolate. ๐

I’ve been going to bikram yoga lately and I love it!! I used to hate yoga and have no patience for it but something about the sweating/struggling with bikram has me hooked. ๐ Oh, and I wish I had known about that Chocolate Expo, that’d be a great reason to come to Albany!

I tried Bikram once…and I think that was enough for me! There is one studio in Saratoga but thats too far for me to go for yoga!
The expo was good, if you wanted to buy lots of chocolate and goodies…I could only look…it was kind of annoying. I wanted everything! Haha.

I’ve been doing hot yoga once a week and I’m *Ioving* it!
I’m bummed I didn’t end up going to the chocolate expo. Everything looks so delicious. What is the name of that vegan cupcake place? Are they local??

Albany, I think. I don’t think they have a storefront though. I think it was just called “I love Vegan Cupcakes” or something.
Where do you do yoga?

The Hot Yoga Spot in Styvesant Plaza ๐

Yummm chocolate fountain! I actually had one at my high school graduation party, because my neighbor owns one. No idea WHY he owns one, but it was pretty cool!
