Chips that Pop
Thanks to those of you who responded the the questions on my last post, it was very helpful! I have to learn not to beat myself up over the bad decisions I make. I just have to realize that I’m human and I’m not perfect and I can’t live my life feeling guilty over food all the time! It is not healthy.
Anyway, lunch today was just a Morning Star Farms chick’n patty on a whole wheat sandwich thin, along with some Popchips! The lovely people at Popchips sent me some samples to try out. I tried the sour cream and onion flavor.
They come in a convient 100 calorie pack, which I love, since I have a tendency to overeat chips straight out of the bag.
These were some pretty delicious chips! The only thing negative I could think of is that I may become addicted to them. 😉 Here is some more information about Popchips from their website:
“Our all-natural pledge: no fake colors, no fake flavors, no preservatives, no fluorescent orange fingertips, and no wiping your greasy chip hand on your jeans. No, really. We only use ingredients you can feel good about eating. And we leave out the bad stuff, like hydrogenated oils and msg, that give snacking a bad name.”
How can you not agree with that? I can’t wait to try the other flavors.
Anyway, after work today I have a plan to head to the gym and run five miles or bust. It is the least I can do to make up for the cheesecake and cake I had this week. And running always makes me feel better, no matter what the issue is. 🙂
Question for you readers: what type of exercise makes you feel the best after doing it?

I like the Salt and Pepper flavor.
Running is just a high that I can’t get over all day.

I love pop chips! They’re so good! Popchips sent me a whole box last year as a surprise Christmas present. I was down at my parents for the month and didn’t get it until January! They were awesome!
My favorite exercise of the month is body pump and running. Unfortunately, I can’t do either right now. boo

On your recommendation, I’ll give the chips a try. I’ve been browsing through some of your earlier posts and really like what you are doing here. I love your recipes and will be back often. As to exercise, I walk an unexciting 5 miles a day. I hope the day treats you well.Blessings…Mary

I love walking, but I also have a blast when I do Zumba. I love Salsa dancing and Spanish culture so that work out always makes me feel great and it really works all of your body.

Ohh popchips. I love them! I always feel great after a run or yoga, although each one provides a different type of great feeling, if that makes any sense.
