Upstate New York race season is almost upon us! Its “officially” spring (the weather here says otherwise), so that means there are tons of races coming up! Two years ago in May I ran my first 5K, the 2009 Freihofer’s Run for Women! I felt so empowered running alongside of (or behind) some of the best female runners in the world! But since it looks like I am stuck here until I can afford to move somewhere warmer or until I win the lottery, here are a few things that can help you and I look past the piles of snow, ice,…

I cannot believe that there are only four days until Christmas. For some reason I feel like the holiday season has lasted forever (considering I heard Christmas music at the mall on November 1!) After my office holiday party I felt like Christmas had already come and gone-but actually didn’t happen yet.
