    Early Christmas Dinner

    Last night my parents had Chris and I over for an early Christmas dinner! We had a yummy dinner of turkey and baked haddock (for me!) and it was fantastic! My mom also made an amazing looking cake. The best part of dinner… ๐Ÿ˜‰ So festive. It was Christmas fun-fetti. ๐Ÿ™‚ We also exchanged gifts with Chris and my parents. ๐Ÿ™‚ My parents gave Chris a sweet outdoor grill with bbq sauce and a bag of charcoal! It was awesome.     Thanksgiving 2011 – Turkey Trot and a Feast

    I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving! ๐Ÿ™‚ Yesterday my Thanksgiving started out pretty good. Chris and I ran in the Troy Turkey Trot, Troy’s local thanksgiving 5K. I ran this race once two years ago and it was my second ever 5K. Good memories. ๐Ÿ™‚ It was a little bit chilly at first yesterday but after a one mile warm up around Troy, we were ready to run.     A lot of people were dressed up in costumes, including a bunch of guys dressed up at Christmas presents.     Practice for the Hairy Gorilla

    I had this past Monday off from work for the Holiday (hurray!) so Chris and I wanted to make the most of the beautiful weather! We drove up to Thacher Park to run the trails and do a bit of light hiking. We ended up running about a mile since my hip started acting up and just walked the rest, which was okay in my book. I needed to get in at least a little bit of trail running before the Hairy Gorilla Half Marathon!
