Bacchus Pizza

Last night my friend Ashley came to visit me! She lives in Catskill, which is quite a hike. She was in the area so we decided to go to dinner.

We chose pizza, yet again! Bacchus Woodfired Pizza, to be exact. It didn’t seem like much from the street, but once we got inside, it was really neat! The pizza oven was a creepy looking face.

There was a decent amount of seating and a bar on the other side, but I didn’t walk over to see it.  It was dinner time on a Wednesday and the place was practically empty.

Ashley and I decided to split a pizza, the Margherita, simple and tasty. We ordered the 12″ to share. It came out super fast!

It was delicious! But a bit on the small side. The picture makes it look huge, but the slices were pretty tiny. I know Chris could easily eat two of these pies! 😉 But it seemed to be just enough for the two of us.

Bacchus had a pretty decent drink selection, too. Ashley and I each got a Purple Haze! She said she had one before and that they were good, so I went with it. Delicious it was!

Thankfully we didn’t leave the restaurant feeling overly stuffed. It was just the right amount of food! We had a great time chatting and catching up. Maybe pizza will be our go-to meal when we hang out from now on! 😉
