A Beautiful Trail Run

Last Thursday my friend Laura and I decided to run with the Albany Running Exchange in their Trail Run Series. Last week it was at Peebles Island State Park, a new to me park in the Capital District.

The run was a 2.5 mile loop around the island, and it was gorgeous. I managed to snap a few pictures while on the run, and may have even stopped a few times.

I’m really loving these evening runs with the ARE. There’s nothing better than running around the trails when the sun is just starting to go down. Beautiful!

We were originally going to do two laps, but because I wear old sneakers on trail runs, I got a blister…so we only stuck to one lap.

I will most likely be going back to this park for another run, it was so nice!
