Where Do Your Eggs Come From?

Do you know where your eggs come from? I do!

These cute girls!! Aren’t they adorable? They belong to my neighbors, and thankfully my neighbors provide me with fresh eggs once every couple of weeks.

The eggs obviously have to be cleaned with cold water before you really do anything with them, but c’mon, this is local!

I feel so much better knowing where my eggs come from, and that these chickens are living a happy life in their warm little coop.

Yesterday morning I had an egg + salsa sandwich with one of their eggs. So good!

Yesterday I decided to hit up a 90 minute hot yoga class after work at The Breathing Room, which actually ended up being a really good decision. Things have been really stressful at work, so yesterday was the perfect time to get all the stress out at yoga class.

It was a version of Hot Vinyasa, not Bikram, like I did last time. (Bikram was intense!) Bikram yoga consists of a set series of 26 postures and 2 breathing exercises in a room heated to 103 degrees, while the class I went to last night, Hot Vinyasa, is a “flowing” yoga that connects movement and breath with the yoga postures. And the room was just heated with space heaters. 😉

It was $15 a class, which is a little bit much, so I think I may try to go every other week.

I have some other exciting news. I think I may be registering for this:

The Melbourne & Beaches Music Half Marathon! Woohoo!! I’m planning on going on vacation to Florida this winter, and what’s better than running a half in sunny Florida! Sounds like a plan to me! 😉

Also-I’ve always wanted to run a race in another state! I’m excited!!

that yoga class sounds wonderful! I was thinking about trying that class at 9AM again on Saturday, but I’m not sure yet.

You totally should run the half in Florida (I always say flo-ride-uh like the rapper whenever I see that word now haha) and I will be cheering you on from snowy gross New York in Feb 😉
