What I’m Loving Lately – Food Edition

Harney & Sons Organic Green Loose Leaf Tea

When I was home for Thanksgiving I found a box of tea I got at their shop Woodstock last year and forgot about! I took it home with me and the past few mornings I’ve been brewing my own loose leaf green tea…I’m obsessed with it.

Edy’s 1/2 the fat Pumpkin Ice Cream

Can we say pumpkin pie in a bowl? This ice cream is amazing and its hard to stop myself after 1 serving, but so far I’ve been successful. After coming home from class or work I treat myself to a small bowl with granola and it really satisfies my sweet tooth.

Silk Nog

I love eggnog, but its so fattening that I only usually have 1 or 2 sips and I’m done. When I saw this dairy free “eggnog” at Target I had a bit of a freak out. 90 calories and 2 grams of fat for  1/2 cup of Silk Soy “Eggnog” and it tastes JUST like the real thing. I love it.

Butternut Squash & Spinach Lasagna

My mom made this for me for our Thanksgiving dinner since I didn’t eat turkey this year. Since nobody else had any at dinner besides Chris I had a ton leftover and had it for lunch for the following 4 days. It was AMAZING. I highly suggest checking this recipe out because it is a delicious, healthy meatless lasagna recipe.

I wasn’t paid to review any of these products–I purchased them all myself and actually love them.

What are you loving lately?

Just an FYI — my life will be getting even more hectic than it already is soon. I have my chemistry final in two weeks and I’m working two jobs, along with trying to run at least 15 miles a week. So needless to say, blog posts might not be coming as frequently as I would like. But I promise not to forget about you all!

    lately i am loving:

Ghoul-Aid. Yes, still. [shhhhhhhhhh. our little secret ;)]

Adding 2 Tbspns of flavored creamer to my coffee in the morning.

Eating a healthy snack between 10 and 11 each morning – yesterday it was a serving of crackers, today, an apple! It’s helping me from reaching into the candy drawer and over eating at lunch.

There is this ridiculous Southwest Ranch veggie dip found in the produce section…it’s by Marzetti and it is flipping AMAZING. as in, i eat it on EVERYTHING. Just a little bit goes a long way, which is awesome calorie wise – though they do make a fat free version, too. WOOT!

    Yay for Harney and Sons!

Currently I’m loving all the Christmas decorations downtown, mint hot chocolate from Starbucks and the unseasonably warm weather.

Also, I haven’t been by in a while: your header image is adorable!
