Weekly Workout Schedule – 8.19.13

Last week’s schedule

Monday – Evening bike ride (~20 miles) actual: 23 mi ride
Tuesday – 30 min run / strength training actual: 1 mile + body pump + 2 miles
Wednesday – Rest
Thursday – 30 min run complete
Friday – TBD 6.2 mi hike in the high peaks
Saturday – TBD 2 mi walk
Sunday – 8 mile run complete + 2 mi walk

What a great week for workouts! The weather has been great lately and perfect for running. I did my first early AM run on Thursday before work and it was great. I need to get back into early running because school starts next week and I’ll be busy after work 4 out of 5 days a week.

I also hiked my first ADK High Peak Friday! My legs felt great the whole time and we figured it was about 6.2 mile trip for both peaks. I was kind of weary about running an 8 mile long run on Sunday, but after resting up on Saturday, it went pretty well.

Last night I made a last minute decision to run a local cross country 5K… it’s free for HMRRC members, so I figured it’d be a fun way to get my miles in!

Saturday – Hoosic 50 Bike Ride
Sunday – 5 mile run
