Weekly Workout Schedule – 8.12.13
Now that I’m officially training for my fall half marathon, I figured I’d start my weekly workout schedules again. I feel like they are a good way to re-cap my workouts and keep track of my miles.
Last week’s schedule
Monday – 60 min body pump
Tuesday – 3 mi run + 19 mi bike ride
Wednesday – Rest
Thursday – 2.8 mi run + 2 mile walk
Friday – Rest
Saturday – 7 mi run + 2 mi walk
Sunday – 20.5 mi bike ride
Saturday I went on another long run, which was supposed to be around 6 miles. I was just going to run for an hour, but the route I did was about 6.5 miles, so I added on another half mile to make it 7 miles. It felt great to be running long again, even if it was only 7 miles!
Sunday I met my friend Kristin for brunch at Indian Ladder Farms. We both biked there and my friend Brendan joined us!
I ordered a french toast with fresh local berries, and that hit the spot and provided fuel for my upcoming miles.
Then Brendan and I rode our bikes to my parents house, totaling a little over 20 miles for the day.

Monday – Evening bike ride (~20 miles)
Tuesday – 30 min run / strength training
Wednesday – Rest
Thursday – 30 min run
Friday – TBD
Saturday – TBD
Sunday – 8 mile run

Love Indian Ladder. Happy race training! Which half are you doing this fall? I’m doing the Mohawk Hudson full in October, thought maybe you were doing that half. I did it the past two years — great race. 🙂

Yep, I am doing mohawk hudson half! i ran in 2010 as my first ever half marathon, so i’m really excited to finally run it again– Good luck with the Full, i want do it next year!
