Weekly Workout Schedule – 1.28.13

Monday – Kettlebell Bootcamp complete
Tuesday – 3 mi actual: 45 min spin class
Wednesday – 4 mi actual: 5 mi tempo run
Thursday – 3 mi actual: 4 mi
Friday – Rest
Saturday – 8 mi actual: 60 min spin class/20 min strength
Sunday – Strength actual: 9 mi

Total Mileage – 18 mi

I had last Monday off for MLK Day, so I took advantage of a free kettlebell bootcamp class at my gym! It was a FANTASTIC workout! I really wish I could do classes with a trainer like that every week because it was great. I’m thinking of getting a  kettlebell DVD to do at home. I have one kettlebell but I’m kind of at a loss of what exercises to do on my own. Any recommendations?

Sunday I braved the cold for my long run with Melissa. We went back to our favorite hilly loop, that I haven’t ran since Thanksgiving morning. And I could tell. I had to stop and walk up most of the hills. At least I finished it because there were moments when I wanted to stop and call Chris and have him come pick me up. It never actually hit 20 degrees during my run. It was cold!
