Weekly Workout Schedule – 1.14.13

Well, I’m back from Florida! The weekend there was nice and unseasonably warm for January–in the 80s! I miss it already. Friday morning I went to the St. Sebastian River State Park to check out the trails with mom and dad and ended up going for a nice little 4 mile trail run!

It was pretty deserted though. My parents were walking nearby so that was good. I ran 2 miles out and then 2  miles back. It was a 9 mile loop that I had originally wanted to run, but I figured it’d be too lonely and kind of scary to run that whole thing alone…

I did end up seeing a deer on the trail though, which was really cool.

Anyway, now onto the workout schedule. I’m starting these up again because marathon training starts this week! I’ve had a nice break from running the past month. In December I was somewhat injured, but since switching back to my old shoes I’ve been fine. Which is kind of sad because I loved my Pink Brooks–they were super comfortable! 🙁

Weekly workout schedule for this week – Week 1 of Marathon Training

Monday – Spin
Tuesday – 3 mi run
Wednesday – 3 mi run
Thursday – 2 mi run
Friday – Rest
Saturday – Either Yoga or Spin
Sunday – HMRRC Winter Series 15K
Total Mileage – 17 mi

I’m going to miss running in shorts…
