Weekend Goodness: Margaritas, Sombreros and a Gorgeous Wedding

What a beautiful weekend we had here…it was pretty exciting.

Friday night I celebrated my birthday with some friends at El Mariachi. It was such a gorgeous night!

I was hoping to be out on the patio but we weren’t, it was still fun though!  The margaritas are amazing at El Mariachi.

I ordered the Enchiladas el Mariachi, my favoriteeee dish from here.

So glad I got to celebrate with such good friends. Sadly my sister and her boyfriend were absent since they had a wedding to go to in PORTLAND, OR. (I am so jealous!) But we managed to have an awesome time. They even gave me some flan for dessert for my birthday–complete with the large sombrero.

Saturday, after my long run, Chris and I had a wedding to go in Troy! His friend from soccer, Justin, was getting married at the Franklin Square Ballroom, which was a gorgeous place–I never knew it existed!

It was a beautiful wedding. The food was delicious–I got the veggie lasagna and dessert was a very good tiramisu! I could only eat half of the lasagna and so they wrapped the rest to go, which I was not expecting. It was my lunch on Sunday. 😉

The wedding favors were lemon cupcakes from Cocoadots bakery, complete with glittery frosting.

It was such a fun night–Congrats to Justin & Caroline!

Sunday was pretty low key, I went to yoga with Melissa, relaxed a while then rode my bike to the Pond (again). I love it here. I sat by the pond for an hour just relaxing and reading my kindle.

If every day could be as beautiful as this past weekend, that’d be great- take note mother nature.
