    Girls’ Night Out and a Wet Long Run

    Happy Saturday! Last night was girl’s night! Every few months my college girlfriends and I like to get together to meet for dinner & drinks. Last night we met at Brown’s Brewery for some tasty brews and and a delicious meal! I ordered one of my favorites at Brown’s, the Cherry Raspberry Ale, complete with the cherry! For my meal I went with my old standard, the black bean & barley burger. I also got a side of broccoli instead of fries, because, this is a healthy living blog, after all!     Enjoying Troy

    Today was a pretty low key day. I woke up pretty early to get in a short two mile run. I tried to work some speedwork into it. I did 2 miles in about 20 minutes on the treadmill. It was a nice wake up call! A smoothie for breakfast followed. (Recycled smoothie photo!)
