Reading Terminal Market

Our last day in Philadelphia consisted of walking to Reading Terminal Market for breakfast/lunch. This place is seriously overwhelming! There are so many vendors and so many places to choose from to get food!!!

I knew I wanted crepes for breakfast, so we went to Profi’s Creperie.

I ordered the honey strawberry & banana whole wheat crepe. We sat at the table and watched them make our crepes!

Mine was amazing! But the honey made it almost sickenly sweet. But I have a huge sweet tooth, so there’s really no problem there. 🙂

Chris went to his favorite place in Philly, DiNics, for a roasted pork sandwich, which is served with broccoli rabe and cheese.

He was really happy with his sandwich.

While he devoured his sandwich, I went to the juicing stand and got fresh strawberry pineapple juice with a shot of wheatgrass.

I had never had wheatgrass before and I couldn’t even really taste it. The juice was good and filling.

After we left the market we walked back to our hotel to check out, followed by a quick stop at the Philadelphia Trader Joe’s! I cannot stop in a city with a TJ’s without visiting and picking up a few of my favorite things!

Philly was a really awesome city. My favorite things about it include: walkability, restaurant options, and the historic charm. It just was all around cool. I will most likely be back to visit!!!

I have a conference in Philly next month, and am staying close to Reading Terminal Market. It’s supposed to have a great vegetarian place that I’ve planned on checking out, but will definitely have to stop by that creperie as well!
