Massage First Timer
Last night I finally used my Groupon for a massage! I scheduled an appointment for a 60 minute sports massage at Massage in the Park in Rensselaer Tech Park in Troy. It was really easy to schedule the appointment right online.
It was kind of hard to find the building since none of companies have signs out in front. Strange. But when I got there the massage therapist was waiting for me in the lobby! It was my first time ever getting a massage. She asked if I had any problem areas and I told her just my legs and lower back, since I had just run a half marathon on Saturday. She told me she is also a runner who works on a lot of tri-athletes. Awesome!
The room was small but it had a relaxing vibe. It was nice.
The massage lasted 60 minutes and it was nice and relaxing. Just what my sore legs needed!! It was a nice treat.
Anyway, this morning I finally got around to trying the other kind of Uncle Sam Cereal that Attune Foods sent me, the Honey Almond!
It was quite tasty. I threw in some extra raisins because lately I’ve been loving chewy raisins in my cold cereal. I’m a huge fan of the wheat-berries, so good! I also really liked the protein and fiber stats.
On the exercise front, I decided to take two whole rest days after my half marathon. It was really nice! I have Body Pump on the agenda tonight, and who knows…maybe I will hop on the treadmill before and run a few miles! My legs feel good as new! 🙂

I have never had a massage…so I’m STILL a first-timer. Or, I guess, a Not-Yet-Timer 🙂 Glad it went well, I think I wouldn’t even know what to do once I was in the room. I think that is what freaks me out about going. I won’t have my massage etiquette down!

I’ve never had a massage either! I think it’s going to go on my NEXT 101 in 1001 list (which will start in a few months when my other expires!)
