    I have something really cool to share with you guys! The people over at Girlnetic recently contacted me about their local JumpStart to Fitness Expo coming up on January 26th at Taste Penthouse in Albany. This fitness expo is geared toward women looking to “jump start” their 2013 healthy living goals and  new years resolutions. I think it would be worth checking out–the expo will have a ton of health and fitness vendors from all around the Capital Region.     What to Pack for Ragnar Relay

    Tomorrow I’m running the Adirondack Ragnar Relay! I have never ran a relay race before but apparently they are a blast. I have three legs. Leg 1 – 3.2 miles (Saratoga Springs) Leg 2 -5.7 miles (Lake George) Leg 3 – 7.9 miles (Keeseville) (source) Now what in the world does one pack for a race like this??     Harvest Fest in Washington Park

    Yesterday was such a perfect fall day! My sister came over and we rode our bikes to our friend Brendan’s apartment since we all wanted to go to the Harvest Festival in Washington Park. The  Honest Weight Food Co-op puts on the Harvest Festival in the park every year. They have music, local food vendors and vegetable stands. It was lovely! The bike ride down was really nice, too. So much delicious food to choose from! We also went to the table handing out goodie bags with lots of samples from the co-op! Of course I couldn’t leave without trying something!     Ice Cream Sandwich Throwdown

    Saturday (after running 14 miles) I had the pleasure to judge The Ice Cream Sandwich Throwdown – Saratoga vs. Albany. Daniel B & the Saratoga Idiots had put together this amazing tour of ice cream sandwiches in the Capital Region, and we had to find out who had the best– Saratoga or Albany. I, of course, was Team Albany! Chris tagged along to be a provisional judge, also so I had someone to split the ice cream sandwiches with.
