ADK Ragnar Relay Team Sponsors
As you might remember, last year I ran the Adirondack Ragnar Relay.
Well, I’m running it again this year and the race begins on Friday at 6:00am for our team, called the Herd O’ Turtles. We have a ninja turtle theme going on!
This time around we have a set of awesome sponsors to help us get through the race. This is a shout out to them!
All Over Albany, our favorite local blog, who does a great job at reporting on everything Albany.
Troy Cloth & Paper, an awesome t-shirt design shop that helped us screen print our team shirts. THESE GUYS ARE AWESOME and so are the shirts!
Giovanni Rana Pasta, who gave us delicious pasta that will help fuel our race by providing a delicious pasta meal for the Herd.
Cheribundi, who gave our team tart cherry juice, which will help us recover from those back-to-back runs during Ragnar!
Xs to Os Vegan Bakery, one of my favorite bakeries in the capital region, made us convenient vegan energy bites (that are easily digestible!) for us to munch on to fuel our legs thru the Adirondacks.
New Skin, who provided our team with some of their anti-chafing spray to try out on our runs. Will report back on how it worked out!
Speedlaces, who gave our team a discount on elastic laces for our running shoes so we don’t come untied–already using and LOVING these laces!
Action Wipes, who provided our team with some samples of their “giant baby wipes” specially made for athletes on the go, AKA sweaty runners in a van together for 24 hours. Will report back on these.
Sparkle Athletic for giving our team a sweet discount on some green glittery skirts to wear with our team turtle shirt. Will report back on these, too!
Pocketfuel, for easy “whole food fuel” when we’re running our Ragnar miles. Will report back on these.

I’m pretty sure I saw one of those skirts while running the Saratoga Palio! And I’m gonna have to try those wipes for my overnight hikes in the mountains.

Good luck to you, Christine, and everyone else on your team – and totally sweet shirts! I’ve been trying to get in on this race for 2 years now, but something always seems to happen – I hope next year I’ll be able to find a team to join 🙂

@Jona You probably saw Dayna and me at the Palio running in those skirts (mine was light green, hers dark – like the photo.) If you have a sewing machine I can send you instructions from another blogger.
@Jen did you get any of the pocket fuels I left with both the vans? It seemed to have disappeared from our van.
