    Mountain Biking at Elm Ridge

    This post is a bit delayed, so my apologies in advance. Last month a few of the girls and I drove down after work for an afternoon ride at Elm Ridge near Windham in the Catskills. (Very stoked to have a group of MTB ladies to ride with now!) Even though we arrived to the trailhead 6pm, we still have lots of daylight to get some good riding in.     Dashing like a Warrior

    Yesterday Chris, my sister and I ran our second Warrior Dash! Well, it was my sister’s first Warrior Dash and first race ever! The Warrior Dash is a 3.2 mile mud run with a bunch of different obstacles scattered throughout the course. Our wave was at 11:30, so we got ready and headed to the start. The start, which includes a 1.5 mile climb straight up Windham Mountain. The course was almost the same as last year, except there were a few more obstacles in the first 1.5 miles.
