Local Hike: The Plotter Kill Preserve

Last Saturday my friend Jenna and I, and a few of her friends went out to Rotterdam to check out the Plotter Kill Preserve. I had never been before and was excited to go for a short hike!

Despite there not being any snow on the ground here, there was still some, along with patches of ice, along the trail. Our microspikes were definitely needed!

There were even some ice climbers getting ready to climb the Falls.

I can imagine how pretty the water must be here in warm weather!
