Dogfish Head Beer Night #2
Back in May, Chris, myself, my sister and a few friends went to the Ruck, a bar in Troy, for their Dogfish Head beer night.
This past Friday night they had another one! We had a great time back in May so I figured I would get some people together and check it out.
Unfortunately Chris was out of town that night so my sister came along with a few of our friends!
Beer #1 was Punkin Ale. I knew I loved it so I went with that one.Yum. “A full-bodied brown ale with smooth hints of pumpkin and brown sugar. We brew our Punkin Ale with pumpkin meat, organic brown sugar and spices.”
Beer #2 was Namaste, a Dogfish rarity! It was a little bit hoppy but still good! I think its more of a summer beer, “A Belgian-style White made with dried organic orange slices, fresh cut lemongrass and a bit of coriander.”
And last but not least I got a 5 oz glass of Midas Touch, and it was delicious! “Somewhere between wine and mead, Midas will please the chardonnay and beer drinker alike.”
Apparently, we also like to dance at the Ruck at Dogfish Night.
Fun times were had by all. 🙂
Have you ever had Dogfish Head beer? If you have, what’s your favorite? If not, what’s your favorite craft beer?

Looks like a fun night, Jen! That’s quite an impressive race calendar, too. Congrats, and Happy Thanksgiving!

90 Minute IPA is great but I have to say that Southern Tier 2XIPA is perfection in a pint glass.
