Christmas Update

I hope everyone had a fantastic holiday. I know my family and I did!

And so did a certain cat!

Where’s Cedric’s present? In his stocking of course.

Cedric got some treats and a toy lizard for Christmas. Too bad he wanted nothing to do with the catnip lizard.

He would rather be playing in luggage set boxes.

We had fresh french vanilla coffee and White Christmas Tea while opening presents with my parents! I opted for the tea!

A hand held blender!!!

A headlamp (for nighttime running) and some sweet Smartwool running socks!

Post present opening I made some TJ’s pumpkin pancakes with white chocolate chips as a special topping along with some home made pumpkin butter.

Awesome Christmas breakfast!

For Christmas day my family and I usually go to my cousin’s house for Christmas dinner. It was so much fun this year–we exchanged presents, had a lovely feast, and ended up watching Despicable Me on DVD, which was a really cute movie.

I couldn’t have asked for a better Christmas. Time spent with family, friends, good food, and laughter. Love it! I had a great time.

Anyway–today is back to REALITY. I started this morning off with some leftover pumpkin pancakes, this time without the chocolate chips!!! And then hopped on the treadmill downstairs for a nice 5.0 mile run. I was originally going to run outside, but after seeing the weather…

I decided to opt for the treadmill and got it done there.

I haven’t left my house all day and I LOVE IT! BRING ON THE SNOW! Actually, don’t, because I have to get work somehow tomorrow.
