A Bachelorette Party!

One of my close friends from college, Ashley, is getting married in a week! On Wednesday night she had her bachelorette party.

First we went to a nail salon to get our nails done. We had snacks and champagne!

Aren’t these chocolate covered strawberries beautiful?

I haven’t gotten a manicure in YEARS. It was nice to get pampered!

A lot of the other girls got pedicures but I just stuck with the manicure.

After that we went over to Stuyvesant Plaza to get dinner at Creo.

Creo is a great restaurant for celebrations. It has that fancy atmosphere and the food is amazing!

We decided to get an order of their blue chips as an appetizer. They were home made chips with bleu cheese dressing. The chips were great! I’m not a fan of bleu cheese but this was pretty good. The cheese wasn’t too overpowering.

The Bride-to-be and I both ordered a wood fired pizza. She got the Zinfandel Pear and goat cheese with prosciutto. We declared we both have a huge obsession with goat cheese.

I got the kung pao shrimp pizza with goat cheese and arugula. Can you say leftovers??

My pizza was great!!! The shrimp was in some sort of soy sauce. It was good but a bit too salty for me, but that didn’t stop me from eating half of it! I saved the rest for lunch the next day. The crust was perfect too…crispy with just the right amount of chew! And you can’t beat the creamy goat cheese. I was impressed

Some of the other girls ordered their amazing looking desserts, the key lime pie and coconut pie.

I didn’t partake in dessert because I was so full from dinner!

We had a great time chatting away. Congrats Ashley…I can’t believe you’re getting married! 🙂
