2013 Workforce Team Challenge

Thursday night was a perfect night for a race!

A few co-workers and I walked to the Empire State Plaza for my FOURTH Workforce Challenge 3.5 mile race!

There was a slight breeze, and I think it was around 80 degrees. We hung around the museum steps for about an hour just chatting.

2013 Shamrock Run

Sunday Chris and I drove down to Kingston for the Annual Shamrock Run. This race is so funny. There are 5,000 people are running (and walking) down Broadway in Kingston to get to the end where they give out free beer from Keegan Ales, green bagels and shamrock cookies.

HMRRC Winter Marathon Relay 2013

On today’s agenda:

Run a marathon relay in bone chilling weather of 20 degrees with zero degree windchill. Check.

Almost get blown away by 20 MPH winds while running. Check.

2013 HMRRC Winter Series #5 – 10M

The last Winter Series race of the 2012-13 season is in the books! I actually only missed one this year because I was flying back from Florida during the 10K- oh well!

HMRRC Winter Series #4 – 15K

Another winter series race in the books! Today was #4 of this season. I had no goals for this race since I felt pretty crappy during most of my runs this week but wanted to treat this race as a long run to get the miles in.
