Exploring Seattle
The final full day of our trip was spent exploring Seattle. Julie had been here before, but it was my first time in this PNW city. I loved it! We did all the touristy things like visit Pike Place, see the Space Needle and wander through Chihuly Garden & Glass Musem. See the photos below from our day in Seattle. That evening, we drove to Alki beach (after the recommendation from an Uber Driver) to see the sunset. We rented Lime Bikes and pedaled up and down the bike path. What a fun ending to an incredible trip!

Hiking in Mount Hood National Forest – Oregon

At the beginning of the month, my sister and I flew from Newark, New Jersey to Portland, Oregon for a week of vacation. We arrived in Portland on Saturday night, picked up our car at the Portland Airport, a Jeep Grand Cherokee, and drove about an hour to Mount Hood Village. Our Air BnB was a tiny cabin in the most magical forest! It looked like something straight out of Instagram. It was nestled in Mount Hood National Forest. The next day, we hiked to Mirror Lake. The trailhead parking is…
