8 Miles and Done

This morning I had to do another long run, 7-8 miles. My goal was to go out and run seven, possibly eight if I was feeling up to it. I was feeling a bit unmotivated to get going, but eventually I made it out there at around 9:00.

Stats Distance – 7.0 miles Total Elapsed Time – 1:14:44 Average Pace – 10:40 Calories Burned – 833 Splits Mile 1 – 11:18 Mile 2 – 10:37 Mile 3 – 11:10 Mile 4 – 10:52 Quick Stop at home for some water Mile 5 – 11:48 Mile 6 – 10:22 Mile 7 – 8:29 (finished strong & fast!)… It took me a while since I was going slow, but I felt pretty good the whole time…with only some fatigue in my calves since they’ve been sore a lately.
