    A Rainy Day in Boston

Well, its Monday again! And yesterday Chris and I spent a nice (but rainy) day in Boston, MA. 🙂 We drove down in the morning and got there at around 1:00PM (just in time for lunch). Chris wanted to drive to there (it’s only a three hour drive from Albany) to meet up with his cousin, who was on vacation in Boston for a week. Before we had to meet up with him, Chris and I walked from Beacon Hill (where we parked) down to the Faneuil Hall to check out the sights and scout out a good place for lunch. There were so many places to choose from! We…

    Impulse Obstacle Course

So, I just signed up for the Warrior Dash on a whim. I had been thinking about it for a while, but the expensive price of registration has been putting me off (and maybe the scary obstacles?) until today. A couple of my friends are doing it so I signed up for it on an impulse. Hey, an obstacle course race is one of my “bucket list” items, so why not do it and get it over with? 😉 The Warrior Dash is described as: “the ultimate event for thrill-seeking athletes. Calamari on the Hudson

Good morning blog world! It is almost Friday, and I am happy about that. This week has been so busy for me I’ve hardly had any time to think let alone blog, but I’ve finally got all of my photos organized so I’m going to give it a try! Breakfast this week has been simple but yummy. I had some tasty strawberry banana oats one morning. In the bowl: 3/4 cup of oats 1 tbsp of oat bran 1/2 mashed banana strawberries 1 tbsp of dark chocolate dreams peanut butter I could throw DCDPB on anything and it would taste amazing. This was a huge bowl of oats, and it…

    A Sangria Type of Evening

Yesterday started out pretty basic. I made a green monster! But instead it looked more like a brown monster with flecks of green. I actually liked it this time! The past couple times I’ve made these tasted pretty bad. In my GM went: 1 cup of spinach 1/2 cup of light soy milk 3 frozen strawberries and 2 slices of frozen papayas 1 extremely ripe banana 1 tsp of almond butter It was refreshing. I also have some frozen cherries so I’m dying to try a chocolate cherry bomb! I also had an English muffin with Maple Peanut butter. Lunch was pretty standard. I had some smashed chickpea salad on…
