    Dashing like a Warrior

    Yesterday Chris, my sister and I ran our second Warrior Dash! Well, it was my sister’s first Warrior Dash and first race ever! The Warrior Dash is a 3.2 mile mud run with a bunch of different obstacles scattered throughout the course. Our wave was at 11:30, so we got ready and headed to the start. The start, which includes a 1.5 mile climb straight up Windham Mountain. The course was almost the same as last year, except there were a few more obstacles in the first 1.5 miles.     Happy first day of FALL!!! Is it just me or has the weather been weird lately? Yesterday I was freezing and today it was muggy and humid?     I am a Warrior!

    I can say I successfully completed the 2010 Warrior Dash NorthEast today. 🙂 Holy crap, it was incredible, and unlike anything I’ve ever done in my entire life! It is safe to say that this might be one of the craziest days of my life! Chris and I got there at around 11:30, since our wave started at 1:00, and we wanted to have enough time to check it out, and check our bags, and pick up our packets. Thank goodness we did!     So, I just signed up for the Warrior Dash on a whim. I had been thinking about it for a while, but the expensive price of registration has been putting me off (and maybe the scary obstacles?) until today. A couple of my friends are doing it so I signed up for it on an impulse.
