Banana Soft Serve Obsession
The past few days have been HOT! I’ve surprised myself though, and got up earlier than normal to get my runs done in the AM when its not so hot out. 90+ degrees after work = no running for me. So morning running it was! (And I actually wasn’t planning on being so matchy with my outfit, I just really wanted to wear my new visor! Which I love by the way.) Lunch at Candle Cafe NYC
As you probably now I’m not vegan, but I LOVE eating at vegan restaurants because it means I can eat 100% of what is on the menu. Since I’m pesco-vegetarian, most of the time I’m looking over restaurant menus skipping over 95% of what are on them. I’d been hearing about Candle 79 and Candle Cafe for years now and I couldn’t miss the chance to finally try one of them. LaZeez and an Attemept and Vegan Baking
Last night Chris and I went to check out LaZeez, an Indian restaurant on Central Avenue. Friday nights they have all-you-can-eat buffet. We wanted to see if it was any better than the buffet at Aashiana. So, I filled up my plate with their vegetarian delights. On my plate Chickpeas Vegetable Korma (mixed vegetables in a cream sauce, my favorite) Palak Paneer (spinach and cheese cooked in a cream sauce) Green beans Fried vegetable dumpling thing (no idea what it was called) And we got a fresh baked serving of Naan (my other favorite).
