    10.5(ish) & XOXO Brunch

    This morning Chris and I headed to the bike path to do a long run. I really don’t have to start training for my next half marathon (in October) but I want to keep my long run distance up. We started running and after about two minutes my Garmin’s battery died (go figure). It was kind of nice not to worry about time though, I just ran by feel and I felt great. 🙂 We kept track of our miles by the mile markers on the path from the Mohawk Hudson Marathon!     A Pre-Race Lunch Date

    The day before our big race, Heather and I hung out in Troy. We grabbed a late lunch at Spill ‘N the Beans Coffeehouse. Heather was a bit nervous for the race, but I told her she had nothing to worry about! And I was right because she finished and did great! I was sad that the restaurant didn’t have breakfast since they stopped serving it at 1pm on Saturdays. We got there around 2ish. Dang.     Enjoying Troy

    Today was a pretty low key day. I woke up pretty early to get in a short two mile run. I tried to work some speedwork into it. I did 2 miles in about 20 minutes on the treadmill. It was a nice wake up call! A smoothie for breakfast followed. (Recycled smoothie photo!)
