    Running to Lock 7

    This morning I met Melissa for a run at the Niskayuna Bike Path! I haven’t been up here since last fall when the leaves were starting to turn! This time the leaves were gone. It was pretty windy when we started and we planned for 3 miles out and 3 miles back since Melissa had 6 miles on her training plan! We ended up stopping at Lock 7 to see the waterfall at the Lock.     Saturday Brunch and Movie Date

    Chris and I are developing a new tradition–Saturday Brunch and Movie Date. Every other Saturday, my favorite bakery, Xs to Os in Troy has a vegan brunch. So far we’ve gone three times and the food has been amazingly delicious! Yesterday was no different!     10.5(ish) & XOXO Brunch

    This morning Chris and I headed to the bike path to do a long run. I really don’t have to start training for my next half marathon (in October) but I want to keep my long run distance up. We started running and after about two minutes my Garmin’s battery died (go figure). It was kind of nice not to worry about time though, I just ran by feel and I felt great. 🙂 We kept track of our miles by the mile markers on the path from the Mohawk Hudson Marathon!
