44 Miles on the Great Allegheny Passage
Saturday, our last full day in Pittsburgh, Chris, his parents and I cycled from Downtown Pittsburgh to Boston, PA on the Great Allegheny Passage. We rented hybrid bikes from Golden Triangle Bike Rentals. After riding 22 miles to Boston, PA, we stopped for lunch! Then we turned around and rode back. Here are some photos! Exploring the Pennsylvania Grand Canyon
Chris and I went camping this weekend for Labor Day. We met his parents at Leonard Harrison State Park to camp out and do some hiking and biking in Pennsylvania’s Grand Canyon! Enjoy the scenery. We most surely did! Total miles hiked – 6.0 Total number of creeks crossed on foot – One Total miled cycled on Pine Creek Trail – 18

This is the last of the Heathy Living Summit recaps! Conference Day
Saturday was the the conference portion of the Healthy Living Summit! But before we could learn all we could about blogging, my roommate Liz and I had planned on running the 5AM long run with a group of other bloggers (like 20 of us!) I was planning on 10 miles but didn’t make it. I turned around at mile 4.2 because my stomach started hurting and ran/walk the rest of the way back…after nearly getting lost! Vegetarian Chicken Cheese Steak and Froyo
What a busy weekend! I’m in the midst of the Healthy Living Summit and I’ve finally had some time to check in! Friday we had a bunch of free time so a big group of us headed out to lunch later in the day. The restaurant we walked to was called Govinda’s Vegetarian! They had a huge menu with such a good selection of food. There was a huge group of bloggers and they were very nice and accommodating.
